DO NOT PUT GARBAGE BINS ON SNOWBANKS. CARTS SHOULD BE PLACED IN THE DRIVEWAY OR IN A SHOVELED AREA: Do not put garbage bins on snow banks.  Carts should be placed in the driveway or in a shoveled area. Garbage and recycling carts cannot be collected from snow banks since the mechanical arms on the trucks cannot reach up to grab them properly. If the arm grasps the container too low on the body, damage to the wheels may occur. Setting the emptied container back on top of the bank will likely result in the container tipping over onto the sidewalk or the street.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Denmark Village Board has declared its intention to exercise its police power in accordance with §66.0703, Wis. Stats., and as applicable §§61.36, 66.0701, 66.0907 and 66.0703(8), Wis. Stats., to levy special assessments upon property within the following described assessment area for benefits conferred upon the property by the improvements of the streets and installation of the facilities described below.

A report showing the proposed plans and specifications, estimated cost of improvements and proposed assessments is on file in the Village Clerk’s office and may be inspected there during any business day between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Denmark Village Board on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 4:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for North Schultz Way Project at the Denmark Village Hall, 118 East Main Street to receive public comment on:

2.  Proposed imposition of special assessments for the Village of Denmark’s cost allocable for sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, stormwater pond, laterals, sidewalk, street construction – North Schultz Way Project (All property fronting upon both sides of North Schultz Way from the DePere Road roundabout to its intersection with Solvang Lane. Including all matters contained in the preliminary resolution authorizing the assessments and the above-described report.

3.  CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING
     Motion to close public hearing. 

4.  ADJOURNMENT

All interested persons or their representatives may appear at the hearing and be heard. All objections will be considered at this hearing and thereafter the amount of assessments will be finally determined.
