SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

Under the direction and supervision of the Village Clerk/Treasurer, the Deputy Clerk/Treasurer is responsible for the collection, receipt and deposit of all Village funds, in accordance with Wisconsin State Statutes and the Village of Denmark ordinances.  The Deputy Clerk/Treasurer provides analysis of the Villages financial position and performs other related duties as directed or assigned.  The Deputy Clerk/Treasurer is engaged in various accounting, payroll, cash receipting and disbursements, debt management, clerical, and records management functions.  The Deputy Clerk/Treasurer performs their duties with absolute integrity and honesty under the general supervision of the Village Board.

Crossing Guards Needed for the 2023-2024 School Year

The Village of Denmark seeks to hire School Crossing Guards to work under the supervision of the Village Directed Enforcement Officers (D.E.O.’s). Must be able to communicate effectively with children, parents, and drivers, ensure that children cross the street properly and safely. Must be able to stand for the entire shift and to tolerate exposure to all types of weather conditions.

Qualifications

High School diploma (or GED). Must be available to work Monday through Friday, during the school year. Hours are 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. and
3 p.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
