Brown County Schedules County KB Bridge over Neshota River Public Involvement Meeting
Brown County is conducting a Public Involvement Meeting concerning proposed improvements to the County KB Bridge and approaches at the Neshota River crossing in the town of New Denmark. The proposed project will be approximately 500 feet in length.
The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will be begin with a short presentation, followed by questions and answers, concluding with an open house, at the Village of Denmark Hall, 100 North Wall Street, Denmark, WI 54208. The meeting will feature exhibits and handouts. Staff from Brown County and AECOM (the County’s engineering consultant) will be present to answer your questions and discuss your ideas.

All citizens with concerns, as well as those with historical knowledge, who may assist in the development of this project, are encouraged to attend and/or contact project personnel. Project specifics will be discussed.
The current bridge is experiencing several areas of concrete deterioration, including concrete cracking and spalling and steel corrosion. If a build alternative is selected, construction would likely occur in 2026.
